Peplum is one of those trends that you are seeing everywhere these days. But it's one that I would want to know that I could get multiple looks out of before I invested. Personally I like the look of peplum tops better than say a peplum skirt and I think it is a much more versitle way to play with the trend. Here is one peplum top and two different looks. While both are still feminine, one is more casual while one is more office appropriate.

One trend I have promised I would try out this year, even if it is only in the change room, is the maxi dress. I have always steared clear of them due to my petite stature but I have seen other petite fashion bloggers pull them off so I thought I could give them a try. These dresses defintely have me daydreaming of warmer weather.

I am one of those people that you might think melts in the rain. I really hate getting wet and so I always try to dress appropriately for the rain. My essentials are a coat that keeps me dry, preferably with a hood. Rain boots and a pair of denim that fits inside, save the flares for when it's dry. A great umbrella, I want of the the bubble styles! How do you try to keep dry or do you love to jump in the puddles?

With the super warm weather we had a few weeks ago we were spoiled into thinking it was further in the season than it really is. Still I have given up wearing my winter coat in favour of spring layers.

Still I always need to remind myself how to wear spring and summer dresses and skirts when it is still only 10 degrees out. This is how I would wear a floral dress now and later.
