Grammy-Award winning Mariah Carey Saturday gave birth to twins today, delivering a boy and a girl on the anniversary of her wedding to actor Nick Cannon.
The babies were born at a Los Angeles hospital, weighing over 5 pounds each. The names of the children were not known.
“Babies were born on their wedding anniversary,” Her representative said in a statement. “Not even Mariah could plan that!”
Carey announced she was pregnant in October.
Cannon said the couple delayed telling people about the pregnancy because Carey once suffered a miscarriage.
